Dear newest member of the Pride,

On behalf of the Office of Residence Life, we are thrilled that you will be joining our community! We know you may still be deciding whether or not you will be a residential student but wanted to provide you with information about our on-campus housing process. Living on campus is an incredible part of a college experience, and at Regis, we truly believe your residence hall is your home.

We imagine you're excited to find out where you'll be living and who you'll be living with, so below you'll find additional information about housing assignments and roommate selection.

Regis uses the online Adirondack Portal for all housing information. You can access it by visiting our Office of Residence Life web page. There is a button on our main page that looks like this:

You can also access the Adirondack Portal directly by clicking here. I highly encourage you to bookmark this page on your devices because you will use it frequently throughout your Regis career.

You log in into the Adirondack Portal with your same Regis username and password provided to you by Information Technology Services (ITS). If you are already logged into Office 365 as a Regis student, you will be automatically logged in.

Steps to complete the housing application:

1. Log in using your Regis username and password. You will see some basic information about you.
2. Click on the Applications tab at the top, click on New Student Housing Application, and electronically sign your housing contract (image below).
3. After submitting your housing contract you will be brought to a screen to complete your living preferences. Please be as honest as you can. This information will help us pair you with a roommate who has similar living preferences.

To select a specific roommate:

If over the summer you find someone specific you want to live with, you can request to live with that person. Once both you and your intended roommate fill out the housing contract and provide your personal information in the Adirondack Portal, you will be able to search for each other within the Roommates screen. You should choose Room Selection at the top of the portal and click Roommates/Suitemates.

After you search for a roommate and click their name, you will see that you have requested a roommate and they will receive a pending roommate request. They will click the green button to approve the request. When this has been completed, you will see that your roommate group is fully matched.

You are now done!

On our Residence Life website, you will have the opportunity to walk through the housing process in more depth, as well as see information about what to bring and not bring to campus.

Important dates:

• Week of July 6: Meal plan and parking pass information will be sent to your Regis email address
• July 20: Housing application closes (you can no longer choose a roommate after this date)
• Week of July 27: Housing placements (log in to Adirondack Portal to find out your room and roommate)
• August 28: #RegisMoveIn for all new students (first-year and transfer)
