Summer has arrived, which means we are busy planning for the fall semester! In this issue of our Family Newsletter, you will find information about our annual Regis Fest Homecoming and Family Weekend, as well as some important check-ins for your student. Additionally, please take note of the upcoming events and dates at the bottom of the newsletter.

Save the Date: Regis Fest Homecoming & Family Weekend
Mark your calendars for ourannual Regis Fest weekend celebrating family, friends, alumni, and students! This annual tradition will take place Sept. 27 and 28, with most of the family programming happening on Sat., Sept. 28. The celebration will include many fun-filled events as well as plenty of opportunities to cheer on Regis Pride athletics at home. We hope to see you there!
Our 2024-2025 housing application is currently live. If your student is planning to live on campus, please remind them to submit their housing application on the Adirondack Portal.
If your student has a roommate in mind, please make sure they connect with their roommate on the portal by Mon., Jul. 22. If they do not request a specific roommate, they will be assigned a roommate based on the preferences they provide.

Summer is an excellent time to speak with your student about Regis’ global learning experiences. Students who participate in education abroad programs graduate at higher rates with higher GPAs and are at a competitive advantage in the internship and job market.
Regis offers flexible options that range in duration from one week to an entire semester. Our programming includes traditional study, internships, research, and service learning abroad. Your student can browse upcoming education abroad opportunities for the 2024-2025 academic year now.
In addition to career readiness events hosted throughout the academic year, students are invited to schedule individual appointments to discuss their career goals, review resumes and cover letters, create effective LinkedIn profiles, navigate internship and job search processes, and more.
