On behalf of the Regis community, welcome to the Pride! My name is Paige Ritchie, and I'm from Peabody, Massachusetts. I'm a rising senior Criminal Justice major on the Pre-Law Track with minors in Political Science, History, and International Relations. Regis has given me the opportunity to thrive in so many ways, including participating in Student Government, playing on the Women's Lacrosse team, gaining valuable experience in local district courts, and making life-long connections I will carry with me forever!
The experiences I have had, skills I've gained, and friendships I've made at Regis will follow me long after I graduate. As you begin preparing for your own Regis journey, I want to share some of my favorite things about being a member of the Pride:
Family-Oriented Community:Since my first campus tour, I immediately knew that Regis would be my home away from home. Each year, I have the privilege of creating more meaningful relationships with people I will cherish for life.
Campus Traditions: From Founders' Day and Convocation to Regis Fest and the Christmas Tree Lighting, there is always something happening on campus. My favorite day of the year is Regis Fest! I get to spend the day with alumni, watch my roommates compete in the women's soccer and field hockey games, and eat delicious food!
Student Quad: My favorite place on campus is the quad. If I'm not on the field or in the library tutoring in the Learning Commons, I'm likely hanging out on the quad, which quickly became my favorite place to do work with friends.
Admission Staff:Their support throughout the college process was so impactful and motivated me to make the most out of my entire college experience. The Regis staff have been my biggest cheerleaders in and out of the classroom.
Student-Athlete Community: Being a part of the athletic community at Regis not only allows me to compete in a sport I enjoy but also learn valuable lessons I will keep with me for the rest of my life. Coach Courtney Duggan has not only shaped me into the player I'm today, but the person as well.
There is so much for you to look forward to at Regis. As someone who was in your shoes not too long ago, my biggest piece of advice would be to get involved right away! Never doubt yourself, always keep a positive mindset, work hard, and most importantly, and don't be afraid to ask for help.
Congratulations!
Paige Ritchie '26 President, Student Government Association
P.S. Don't forget to register for Orientation on July 15-16. You'll meet new friends, make connections, learn about your new home, and have fun doing it!
