What is Summer Scholars?

The Summer Scholars pre-college program at Regis is designed specifically for rising high school juniors and seniors, to immerse themselves intellectually and socially in their chosen topic as they prepare for the college experience.  

Students spend three immersive weeks living on campus, meeting new friends and taking two collegiate level introductory courses. Reading, Thinking and Writing (ENG 105) is required of all students and the other is a course of their choosing. While on campus students will also engage in a Student Success Workshop which includes a variety of college prep and micro credentials. Social programming to include excursions in and around Boston. Upon successful completion of the program, students earn an honorary certificate of completion and Regis College Transcript reflecting the six earned credits.

Outside of the coursework, students will be led through a series of hands-on workshops covering the wide landscape of what to expect once attending college as an undergraduate.
