Mary C. Bryan Women’s and Gender Studies Award

Submissions are now being accepted for the Mary C. Bryan Women's Studies Award which recognizes exemplary student work that enhances understanding of women’s and/or gender studies.

 

Submit chosen work and completed application using this application form by no later than Mon., Mar. 25.

Students looking to receive housing accommodations must submit their accessibility accommodation request form through the Office of Student Accessibility Services by Fri., Mar. 29 at 4 p.m.

 

 As a reminder, on-campus housing is guaranteed for all undergraduate students! 

 

A Housing Selection Information Session will be held online via Zoom on Wed., Mar. 27 at 6 p.m.

Elliott Lectures: A Liberal Arts Lecture Series 
Thurs., Apr. 18 | 6 to 8 p.m. | Fine Arts Center

Pre-register for this complimentary event by Thurs., Apr. 11

 

This inaugural lecture and reception will feature renowned poet and professor Nikki Giovanni. Her poetry has elevated African American awareness in the arts through the Black Arts Movement, and she was a professor at Virginia Tech during the tragic shootings. Giovanni has been recognized with awards such as the Langston Hughes Medal and the Carl Sandburg Literary Award.
